SERVICES: Is there a difference with CCI?  You bet!

CCI is different in many important ways.  We offer the rare combination of experience, broad professional capabilities, and an excellent reputation among our clientelle.  A decision-making professional engineer and/or technical executive is assigned to each project which we undertake, and is involved "hands on" in that project from beginning to end.

Our areas of expertise include:

WETLANDS AND SITE DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT SERVICES

It is increasingly challenging to bring a “greenfields” project to completion in Louisiana, whether the project is a small subdivision or an industrial facility. A major challenge is managing the regulatory process required when the project site contains “jurisdictional wetlands” as defined by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers or the Natural Resources Conservation Services.

We have provided clients with services including:

  Wetlands delineations and updates
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers 404 Wetland permitting
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Section 10 permitting (Rivers and Harbors Act)
State of Louisiana Department of Natural Resources Coastal Use permitting
  Endangered species surveys

Most importantly, we are accustomed to working within the time frame required by today’s competitive marketplace. Over the years, we have developed an excellent working relationship with the regulatory agencies and have developed strategies to optimize the time required for permitting.

SITE ENGINEERING AND DEVELOPMENT

CCI’s civil engineering services include working with clients from the initial conceptual design of a residential or commercial subdivision through the construction phase. Our team members have design and construction experience on projects ranging from the design of individual wastewater treatment plants to construction of a 600+ unit multifamily apartment complex. Our familiarity with local planning and zoning regulations, as well as attendant State and Federal requirements, works to allow implementation of complex projects in a timely fashion.

Services we provide include:

  Feasibility studies
  Surveys: boundary and topographic
  Drainage impact studies
  Traffic studies
  Rezoning and resubdivision of property
  Preliminary and final plat preparation
Detailed engineering design and oversight of infrastructure improvements.

Compliance Consultants, Inc. has demonstrated expertise in the area of biological treatment of wastewaters, solid wastes, and hazardous wastes. Because of CCI’s extensive experience in bioremediation and associated processes, we are able to develop cost?effective solutions to satisfy our client’s water treatment needs. Our personnel have conducted research funded by the United States Environmental Protection Agency, the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources, and private clients concerning the degradation of solid and hazardous wastes, as well as non?hazardous oilfield wastes.
Part of the approach that is unique to CCI is 1) the development of microbial cultures targeted specifically for the material to be treated and 2) the utilization of kinetic data to design systems capable of biodegrading substances long considered to be non?treatable by biological populations. PROJECT MANAGEMENT

In 2005, the voters of East Baton Rouge Parish enacted a dedicated tax in the amount of $460 million dollars for the purpose of street and road improvements otherwise known as “The Green Light Traffic Plan”. After the passage of this tax, the City Parish Metro Council selected a taskforce of companies to perform the work. CCI is a member of the taskforce. As a member of this team, CCI is responsible for overall project management and quality control.
